MY TWO CENTS WORTH
TOPIC FOR THE DAY Hello all,
I would like to mention that the world is not coming to an end at the onset of the Y2K bug.
GASP!!!! How can I say that? The Bible tells us that we don't know the hour of His coming. Although I think it is important to be ready for the Second Coming, I also think that we tend to obsess over the fact. Every time something catastrophic might happen we start to scrutinize the prophesies of the Bible, looking for that ONE THING that points to His coming.
What's wrong with this anyway? We want to stand around like the apostles did in Acts chapter 1and stare at the clouds. We should be out evangelizing and letting people know of the amazing salvation that our Savior Jesus Christ has offered for us.
Besides if the Y2K bug is to be the beginning of the end then I won't have to worry about the outcome for you see I am one of those PRE-TRIBBERS. But that is another story isn't it.
For now I guess I will leave this shameless plug for my free webprovider.www.fortunecity.com
SHAMELESS PLUG BY THE WEBMASTER
A QUESTION TO PONDER?? Should the Churches of today be happy with just swapping members or should we be drafting new ones for the heavenly home team?
(sorry for the wording but I LOVE BASEBALL)
